Railton Foundation Swellendam is proud to be part of a program that will empower the kids of Railton. Bicycle Empowerment Network SA, Pedal Power Association, Unplugged MTB and Petrichor Adventures handed over 10 #bike4all bicycles to learners at VRT Pitt Primêr Primary School on Monday, 25 June 2018.

Alpha Fransman contacted Rohan Germishuys of Petrichor Adventures for a plea for bikes at the school. Rohan contacted Albert from Cape Country Unplugged, who phoned Tim Mosdell from Bicycling Empowerment Network. This is how it all happened to get bikes into VRT Pitt Primary School. The Principal, Mr Isaac Langeveldt, together with learners from the school were over the moon to receive the bicycles.

The good news is that #bike4all will be back in a month to hand over more bikes in Swellendam. The development program will be managed by Railton Foundation Swellendam in collaboration with the school and Rohan from Petrichor Adventures. Robert Vogel from Pedal Power Association is also willing to assist with the program.

The staff and board of the Foundation as well as the Principal, staff and learners of the school wish to thank all stakeholders and sponsors for their contribution to the development of the kids in our community.
